The BONFIX supplied membrane-pressure expansion vessel is a pressure appliance. The function of a membrane is to split the vessel in a water compartment and a pre-pressured gas compartment. The BONFIX expansion vessels are pressure tanks, compliant with the directive for pressure equipment 97/23/EG. The label displays the relevant technical specifications of the expansion vessel. Protect the installation from overpressure with a safety valve!
